International Youth Forum

"Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is achieved."- SwamiVivekananda.

With a dream for a better tomorrow, we present you International Youth Forum. We at IYF are an inspired young team of individuals with a shared mission; a mission to change the world.

With over a 100 volunteers divided in various teams, we work hand in hand to make this dream a reality. After receiving 1100+ applications from 80 countries, we have shortlisted 500 delegates which will assemble in the capital city of Delhi from 24th - 29th June, 2012 to deliberate and work towards effective Policy, Change and Development. IYF will link the world on a common political platform and advertise a sense of globaloneness. Through this initiative we wish to provide a positive stimulus to
individuals who want to make a difference. We aim to associate various Student Groups, NGO's, Social Organizations and Youth Communities to cultivate thoughts for a better future. The Forum will be revolving around the theme 'Role of Youth in Indian Renaissance' with discussions,
seminars and competitions based on Social Entrepreneurship, Model Governance and Citizens' Participation.

The Arab spring which began over a year ago as a fledgling demonstration in the Tunisian capital struck a chord with people all over, the anger and outrage against the authoritarian regimes was felt and the need for change was sensed.

With the mass mobilisation happening all around the globe, we always wonder what the Indian scenario would shape up to be, with this thought in our mind, we wish to bring all the like minded individuals to discuss & debate and find solutions for a better & self reliant India. We need to wake up, shake those lousy & drowsy head and realise that if not now then when?

With brilliant men like Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Shri Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Dr. Isher Judge Ahluwalia on our lists of speakers, their experiences & global perspective ensures the
quality of discussion and sow the seeds of the need for change & development.

IYF strives to become a cult, occurring year after year and becoming a leading international movement, global in all respects.
