Ice-breaking session.

Fresher’s:
It was a day we were deprived of, but when the thought process began to welcome junior’s, there wasn’t anybody who backed out, each one of the senior’s were more than happy to welcome our junior’s.
Everybody helped in the preparations, staying back after college hours, missing our classes to see everything was running smoothly. We never uttered a word; we were all so excited as if it was our fresher’s.
So much of laughter, so much of cheer. It appeared that our college just came to life.
The relationship between us & them was never so formal. They came to us with their problems and each of us tried to help them with our utmost best.
Some were missing their parents, some were tensed about the accommodation, some were tensed about the studies, and some were just super cool about everything.
The bonds had started to develop; there was a sense of belonging. The CV’s had started to flood in for each and every cell’s . The response that we got was over whelming. We were happy to see the excitement levels soaring high every day.
9th July
The day began with junior’s being dressed according to the theme MIS-MATCHED and the seniors draped in traditional clothes. This was the very first time I saw so much of movement in our college, initially it was just the 140 of us but now our family had doubled.
It was amazing to see the participation level; there was no hesitancy, no stage fears.
The junior’s excelled in every bit, they acted, they danced and all of it was so good.
There were performances which took our breath away, we got swayed with the intensity which was developing.
The ice breaking session, literally broke the thin layer of ice, we were all welcomed with big open arms by our faculties. They supported us all throughout.
The fresher’s was amazing with varied performances, and the award sessions.
There wasn’t anything which we can complain about, the dancing session soared with the thumping music, we never bothered about anything and we all got moving. 2 continuous hours of dancing, drenched in sweat but our feet weren’t stopping. We were just so involved in dancing.
A special mention to Rawandale sir’s speech, which got us even closer to him. Hs singing, his motivating words pumped us even more.
With the faculty dancing with us, it was like a big huge family. We never felt that they were watching us because they were right next to us, dancing.
The relationship developed and took a further step. With the junior’s so amazing, our college would surely advance. The activity level would double, with a hope to fetch some great awards & embark a new place for our college, we have our junior’s with us.
So as proud senior’s we all welcome you all to the symbiosis family and we all would always be eager to help. J
