| “I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.” There are so many things that are going on.. so much of drama.. politics.. confusions.. mistakes.. misapprehensions .. a state of mental & physical disarray is what i believe it is.. there are things i cant describe.. things that i dont know about.. i write without rhymes.. thinking about things.. starting form things that admire you for one's beauty.. a piece of garland or even a chaplet.. a perfect example of lulu's.. to a piece of carcass lying aloof.. so dead.. so numb.. a though process begins with the questions.. why do i need to rhyme.. why do i need to make sense.. is this want i want.. why another mistake.. No need to rhyme when I have the poem inside me Lifting above the surface, then falling without care A ghost breathing in time with me Leaving the ache inside more empty than before What defines the lines of my sadness? What makes the feeling of wanting to fade? I still have yet to learn how to break away from everything Because the steps are taken harshly as they walk all over me .. Tears of pain fall forever They can't help the fever Can't kill the flame inside No good within can abide All to live for consumed Everything that once fueled The vivid person I knew Is now gone like the dew ..
Tears crumble down my
cheeks.
My mouth moves but I don't speak.
Hold my breath and count to ten.
Open my eyes, tears roll down again.
I Would tell You It's Fine
While filled with pain
Spreading into my spine
I won't Smile at You Again
You Can tell I am Fading
Only when, I start to shake
Nothing would be aching
When I let go and Break
Surrounded by the lies
Those lies made by you
You are the reason I survive
And Reach Places, With No Clue..
i tried to change.. change all that has been happening.. to make a new move.. to have a new start.. to forget the past.. to light up a new lamp.. make this a fresh new dew.. with no mourning over my pain.. with just laughter to seal my tears..
and there are things i would not tell you just for the fact i dont want to blame you.. still there is so much left unsaid.. stories left untold.. with no remarks

SYM-MUN 2011
Finally the day had arrived. Symmun was here.. we all had worked very hard to make this happen..
going here & there , asking for permissions, seeing all the work was done properly , seeing the selections, collections , registrations.. finally all the hard work paid of. yes we all did put up a great show. :D
20th may
Mr Rawandale & Ms Rineeta Naik enlightened us with their speeches & made us more enthusiastic about this event.
Sherbir Panag, Koshtub Vohra, Milind Sharma & Suvojit sir were on the executive board. All these people were quite different from what we had imagined. They told us not to greet them by calling them sir , they were more friendly & helpful. Helped us with all our problems, gave us advices on how to improve on where we lacked.
They were strict , they were sweet. They were mixture of various charisma's. They all had something or the other
that we could imbibe in us. They were just more than seniors, they were people whom we admire.
They taught us to be organised, to be effective, to be strict & sweet at the same time , their fluency of their speech & their charismatic persona's left imprints on our thoughts..
The event was a great success though it was our 1st official MUN we all enjoyed it to the core & we all are hoping to do wonders in the National MUN.
Now talking about the organizing team that consisted if Palash, Mayank, Aadya, Jaideep & myself we all were able to put up a great show & make our college proud..
We all were great friends at the end of the MUN including the executive board , clicking pictures & going out together, chit chatting , exchanging our views it was a great experience.
The ending couldnt have got better Mr Manohar sharing his knowledge with us on the Indo-Pak issues & about the International affairs.
& not to forget Mr krisshna who came as a Ip guest made the informal IP session great fun, his one liners, his ideas made Ip sessions one that nobody wanted to miss. :P
Though he hardly knew people from our college but he was friends with everybody at the end. :)
congratulations to all the delegates & the managing team.
A vote of thanks to the executive board & our beloved director sir without whom this event could have never taken place.
Cheers & people pull your socks up for the National MUN :)
Wishing all of you luck.

7th May , SET exam :D:D
1st time in the history of SLS, Noida both saturday & sunday were given an off.. woohhooo.. :D
6th May last class, Mr. Rawandale enters our class : Shanker , Palash , Purvasha & Aadya meet me at 2:30.
we all were thinking now what is it about & then we see its not just us, we have 9 more students who are joining the meeting.
& then he says : i have chosen you to be a volunteer for the SET exam tomorrow. Meet me positively at 8 in the morning in formals & it will last not late but around 5 pm.. We all were like why on earth he is doing it with us? Ruining our saturday morning sleep :P
Blah as if we had choices :P
Next morning all of us ready in formals were addressing students & answering their weird questions
1. do you have a pen?? (how could you come without a pen???)
2. hey i haven given the law exam in the morning shift , i have an engineering exam in the afternoon shift so should i give it? (oh stupid go & ask your parents , why asking us?) :P
.. after all the work got over , we were invigilating them :P:P ohh yess.. 1st year students were a part of flying squad :P not officially though :P
We caught students cheating , we stopped them from cheating :P we laughed our heads out when we saw them tensed :P:P thinking as if we would really throw them out :P
Walking in those heels hurts real bad but it could not stop us having the gala time of our life's :P
asking students as directed by sir , have you submitted your OMR sheets?
we got the weirdest of the answers :
1. hey whats that eh??
2. oh shit i didn't.. i thought we could take it home :P
hahhaahahha we all could not stop our laughter.
Sitting at the help desk & helping students out.. it was nice to see , oh yes we are the pilot batch , but it created a different feeling when we saw them sitting in our class rooms , our benches..
never knew this place would have such an effect that too in just 6 months
i dont know whats going to happen after 5 years..
Thank you so much rawandale sir, for giving us such an opportunity we all loved each an every moment of it..
expecting more now :D:D

A new day , a new beginning :)
Everyday I get up, thinking to sleep again but the fear of being in the debarred list for short attendance opens my eyes wide & i lose all my sleep :P
The journey begins, being monotonous now, home to station & station to college, yet some elements as they say add spice or fun to life. Seeing people sleep standing in the metro or weirdly dressed people passing smiles or even the arguments with the autowala's. Thats how i start my day...
Every time i enter that gate , a new sense of enthusiasm is what i feel. Each da brings about new challenges, be it even the small classroom activities , we all find something new about ourselves everyday, something that we never paid attention to. We find a reason to fight against ourself , to strive with the best in us.
We realize no matter how much we crib on the small small things be it the increasing temperature or non-availability of Ac's :P , or the things that completely annoy us , we are here to overcome all of this , to build a brighter future, to be a successful person & not just an uncool geek with all the attention just on academics & none on the non-verbal or expressing skills :)

Respect hard earned.
It feels good when you are appreciated for your work or talent. All your hard work pays off when those words of appraisal reach your ears. Especially when you yourself are not sure whether you have it in you, & somebody else shows that much of faith in you. =)
That feeling in itself is amazing, something you cannot describe in words or gestures.
The sense of admiration that you develop for your own self, with each passing day you feel your standards developing, with your feet firm on the ground & your head rising. You see that respect for you in the eyes of others who never thought of you as a contender. Its a hard slap on their faces who think just appearance is enough to judge a person.
To sum it up:
Its never about the dog in the fight, its about the fight in the dog.

my first ever MUN
24th feb .. row number 2 seat number 5 :D
Entering in that room
With people so new
Delegate of Maldives was a bit too confused :P
Knew nothing of it ,
What I had to do or what should I speak?
Then I asked delegate of Mexico who was sitting right next to me
What should I do ? :P
She told me to keep quiet & listen
I was lost in what was going
& then my chair asked me where was I lost?
Ooops did it show on my face that I wasn’t paying close attention :P
The 1st day came to an end :D
Second day started with pain
Which was caused by those stupid heels :P
Then I talked to more people & made friends to cherish
Delegate of Israel helped me & made me feel at ease
We talked & exchanged our views
A gang we had made by now,
Lots of questions did arise though
But none that could break the new bonds that were formed
The second day ended with a little leg pulling session
Where I was targeted with reasons unknown :P
Yet it was fun because that was better than the moderated caucus
The last day was the best up till now
Singing on the placards’ & writing what all we felt
It was great MUN to be in
The day ended with treat in GIP
Which made all of us come a lot closer
We still are in touch & hope to be forever
May this friendship die never ever :D
I learnt how to tackle crisis & speak without the slangs
& learnt international diplomacy
Seeing the rising demand for the unmod :P
To Behave orderly ,
I May have walked barefoot
All these days but I wouldn’t have bared it if i didn’t had you guys with me
It was a MUN I can never forget
Thanks to all those who made it a memorable event :D
school memories
We were small kids when we joined school
We never had to do anything,
All we used to do was smile & play
No hatred no mind games
We were innocent souls
Just as if jesus was wrapped around our throat
We never hurted anybody nor did we fake any smiles
It was like innocence personified
Then we grew up & learned the tactics
We saw the world at large
Made our groups & partied hard
Our friends were our world
Together we sailed all in the same boat
Sometimes failure sometimes success
That’s how we reached our places
School gave us what we wanted
Taught us & brought us up
Acted like our second mommies
Scolded & gave punishments for doing wrong
& gave us awards if we did something that was not forged
School was like our second home
Gave us all the love & knowledge
To be the best & better than the rest
Those lessons taught by dada &
Those thoughts for the day did make us better
& the classroom studies were always rocking
Those sessions in the labs
Where many of us burnt our hands :P
We learnt something everyday
With teachers so many to guide us through
We can never afford to lose anything about our school !!

Higher education trains your mind to feel good later by making it feel terrible now.
Life that started on a rough edge
When I knew none to sit with
Then came a few
Who wanted to know me &
Tried to talk ,
Though they aren’t with me anyhow :P
Friends I did make but none that I could stick with
The times have changed
I know soo many of them now
People who are genuinely good & not fake
I am surrounded with people all so blessed
Let it be students or our teachers
The environment relaxes you mind
& teaches you how to grow silently
RACHEL, TANAYA , BHUMIKA , NIKHIL
RAHUL, ANUJ, ANISHA, VARUN
KAUSHIK , AYAN, ANIRUDH , SHREYA
NIKITA, SHANKER, SHEEBA , all of them are so good
The times we spend together are memories to be kept forever
Be it haldirams or dominoes
Or even the Chinese van next door
We see our foot prints everywhere
Not a place that is left
College is fun to be in
Achieving your goals with people so learned
Is a blessing for all of us to be a proud part of symbiosis. :D

my first day at college
“Good days are to be gathered like grapes, to be trodden and bottled into wine and kept for age to sip at ease beside the fire. If the traveller has vintaged well, he need trouble to wander no longer; the ruby moments glow in his glass at will.” - Freya Stark
Passing out from school & starting a new life a new phase which everyone says “college” gives us an identity of being an adult & provides us with much more freedom.
The date not escaping my memory it was 23rd December when I started the next part of my “adventurous” life journey called College.
RING RING…not another forward message, I thought as my cell phone vibrated. I checked and realised it was an alarm call. It was 6 am. My God, it was my first day to college. I got up and after hours of mulling on what to wear; I was ready to hit the road that led me to my college.
It was a different feeling all together, remembering my first day at school where I went with a smile on my face to see something new & exciting, my emotions this time were mixed. It was a mixture of nervousness & excitement, previous one for about how it’s going to go, how would my classmates be like, will I make friends? & the later one about my this will be my 2nd abode for the next 5 years.
I fell in love with the campus, landed up talking to a girl to help me reach my class, later realised she was my class mate.
Entered the class seeing so many new faces, I joined late, realised it seeing the little groups that were already formed in the class. Sat on the 2nd bench & found that the students were helpful, they made me see what all had I missed.
The students came from varied places, had different dressing sense, difference in everything. It took me time to actually make out the similarities as observing was my habit. :P now coming to the faculty the first class I attended that was jurisprudence, it was difficult for me to grab what was going on in the class as I had missed a lot, so I struggled to understand. L
Then happened our 2nd class for that day, English, where Ms shailja got me introduced to the class & made me comfortable in this new environment after which we had our break. The break made me see the corridors filled with students of other classes as well & the canteen which had people who were smiling as if welcoming me, I saw it as positive note to this new beginning.
The last class that day as I clearly remember was taken by our director sir Mr C J Rawandale. For whom I fondly developed a sense of admiration , his way of teaching was better than anyone I had ever seen , his way of interacting with the students & his sense of humour was the element which made me like torts even more :P
It was an experience I will cherish for my life, that will never go out of the list of my fondest memories.
My first day signified the beginning of my career goals.

together
As I reach out
And grab you by the hand
I pull you close
So together we stand
Standing there
Your heart raced
As i wrapped my arms
Around your waist
As I hold you
You wrap your arms around me
Now we're standing there
Just hugging
As we hug
A kiss I give you
Show that
I really love you ..=]
And grab you by the hand
I pull you close
So together we stand
Standing there
Your heart raced
As i wrapped my arms
Around your waist
As I hold you
You wrap your arms around me
Now we're standing there
Just hugging
As we hug
A kiss I give you
Show that
I really love you ..=]
